PAWGRID is a cat-and-dog logic game by MENGARZ. It grew from an independent prototype into a private TestFlight beta with 1,000 puzzles.

Our story
MENGARZ was founded by Miah Zhou as an independent creative project focused on playful, approachable digital experiences.
PAWGRID is one of its first projects: a simple logic-game idea shaped into a warm, polished puzzle through careful iteration and feedback from beta testers.
The story behind PAWGRID
PAWGRID began as an experiment in turning the satisfying deduction of classic logic games into something gentler, cuter, and easy to pick up on a phone.
Cats and dogs gave the puzzle its playful identity while two clear rules—Keep Even and No Three—kept every move grounded in logic.
The first 4×4 boards were too easy. Larger boards, stronger difficulty progression, and a growing puzzle collection created more meaningful deductions.
Real-device testing and beta feedback continue to guide clearer interfaces, better readability, satisfying sound, and the small details that make each move feel responsive.
